Switch to Monthly Billing

The first big announcement we have is our switch to monthly billing. We have spoken with many Cebuians about this and the overwhelming majority have said that monthly billing will be much simpler and more convenient. You will no longer register for "lessons." You simply pay a monthly access fee and you can access the site for a full month. All current users have been set up with free access for the next 7 days.

Building the Database

Previously we focused on specific lessons. However, most Cebuians we spoke with have shown much more interest in the broad range of content on Cebuya. We have 2000 companies, 1500 keywords, and 2700 articles in our database! However, as you have probably noticed, most of the details (definitions, example sentences, etc.) are not filled in.

We want Cebuya to become the best service for those learning business English, so we need to get this content filled in. Our goal is to have 2000 companies and 2000 keywords "complete." Of course, "complete" is a rather ambiguous term. Over the next week or two, we will be posting some examples of what we mean by complete. We think you will be pleased with our plans, but please send us your feedback if you have any suggestions.

Early-Bird Pricing - $10/month

We recognize that Cebuya is less valuable now than it will be when we reach our goal of 2000 completed keywords and companies. Therefore, we have decided to institute early-bird pricing. The new price will be $10.00 CAD per month.

Once we reach our goal of 2000 keywords and 2000 companies, the early-bird pricing will be over. At that time the price will be $50.00 CAD per month.
